Before you begin

You need an authorized MailGenie account, a configured delivery provider, and access to the named Test Campaigns List.
All test sends, previews that submit mail, scheduled tests, and proof sends must resolve to the Test Campaigns List. Never use a customer, production, bulk, or marketing list for testing.
1

Sign in to the correct workspace

Open the MailGenie application and confirm the expected organization before viewing or changing contacts and campaigns.
2

Connect a sending account

In Settings, select the supported provider and complete its governed authorization flow. Do not paste credentials into documentation, screenshots, tickets, or chat.
3

Prepare contacts

Import or create contacts, map required fields, and confirm consent and suppression state before selecting an audience.
4

Create the campaign

Choose the campaign type, compose the message, configure sender identity, and review links and personalization fields.
5

Select the test audience

Resolve and select the Test Campaigns List. Verify the selected list in application-visible state before any provider submission.
6

Review results

Inspect delivery, bounce, complaint, open, and click reporting. Treat missing or stale metrics as unavailable rather than as success.
